2.1 Day Tours (No Overnights)

A. Cancellation Fees

• Up to 10 days before the tour: refund minus 25% administrative fee. Minimum fee: $35 USD per person.
• Within 10 days of the tour: 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

B. Transfer of Booking

Changing your booking date is treated as a cancellation. Options:

• Refund according to the cancellation scale above, or
• Credit note for a future day tour (subject to agreement with your AJT sales agent).

C. Unused Services

No refund for unused services after tour commencement.

D. Travel Warnings / Conflict Situations

If an official travel warning affects Jordan or neighboring countries, cancellation is allowed up to 10 days before the tour start. A full refund will be issued minus a 25% administrative fee (minimum $35 USD per person).

E. Refund Process

1. Refunds are processed using the original payment method unless another method is requested.
2. Bank charges, credit card fees, and other payment costs will be deducted from the refund.
3. If the original card is blocked or unavailable, AJT can arrange an alternative refund method (e.g., wire transfer). Any fees from alternative methods are the traveler’s responsibility.

2.2 Multi-Day Tours (With Overnights)

A. Cancellation Fees

Cancellation charges are applied according to the notice period before the tour start:

• Confirmation – 46 days: 10% of total package price or $100 USD, whichever is higher.
• 30–45 days: 25% of total package price.
• 21–29 days: 50%.
• 15–20 days: 75%.
• 0–14 days: 100%.
• No-show: 100%.

B. Transfer of Booking

Changing the date is treated as a cancellation. Options: refund (per scale) or a credit note (subject to agreement).

C. Unused Services

No refunds for unused services after the tour begins.

D. Third-Party Supplier Policies

Some hotels or suppliers may enforce separate cancellation terms; these will apply to the relevant parts of your booking. We will notify you if this affects your reservation.

E. Travel Warnings

If a travel warning is issued, cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the tour start date. A 25% administrative fee will apply.

F. Refund Method

Refunds follow the same principles as Day Tours. Bank or card fees are deducted. Alternative refund methods can be arranged if needed; any associated fees are the traveler’s responsibility.

2.3 Shore Excursions from Aqaba Port (Single-Day Tours)

A. Cancellation Timeline

• 45+ days before: Refund minus 25% administrative fee per person. If 25% is less than $50 USD per person, a minimum fee of $50 applies.
• 0–45 days: 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

B. Transfer of Booking

Changing the departure date is treated as a cancellation. Options: refund per above terms or apply the balance as credit toward a future tour.

C. Unused Services

No refund for unused services after the tour has commenced.

D. Additional Cases

1. Travel warnings: Cancellation up to 7 days before start; 25% administrative fee applies.
2. Cruise unable to dock: Refund less 25% administrative fee.
3. Individual cancellations within groups: 25% fee per person (minimum $50). Group quotation may be revised if final numbers fall below minimums.

E. Refund Method
