Discover the highlights of Jordan on a 5-day journey. From camping with the Bedouin in Wadi Rum Desert to floating on the Dead Sea. Visit to Karak and the ruins of the Crusader Castle, step back in time with a visit to Petra the ancient capital of the Nabateans and experience Roman life at Jerash. This tour starts from Queen Alia Airport and suits those who have a morning arrival time.

Day 1

Arrival to Jordan - Madaba, Mt Nebo - Dead Sea

Land at the Queen Alia International Airport of Jordan and complete immigration formalities. Our representative will meet you before customs to assist you with your free visa to Jordan. You will be taken to meet your driver and transferred to the Dead Sea. On the way you will stop at Madaba which is renowned for it's mosaics. A short stop at Mt Nebo where Moses is said to have stood and gazed out on the Promised land. Your drive will then take you from the top of the Mountains to the lowest Point on earth; the Dead Sea. Check into your hotel and the rest of your day is at leisure. Enjoy the unique sensation of floating in the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Overnight Dead Sea Hotel including breakfast. 

Day 2

Amman City Tour - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman & Overnight

Breakfast at the hotel. Your your driver will meet you and take you down the Dead Sea Highway before you head east to visit the Crusader castle of Karak. It is a notable example of Crusader architecture, a mixture of west European, Byzantine, and Arab designs.
After free time for lunch in the town, you’ll continue along the ancient trade route of the King’s Way and stop at Dana Reserve Viewpoint for a chance to stretch the legs and admire the view all the way back to the Dead Sea Valley. The last stop for today is at Little Petra, giving you a taste of tomorrow's amazing sights. Overnight at a Bedouin Camp in Little Petra (including dinner and breakfast) or at a hotel in Petra (including breakfast). 

Day 3

Petra Visit – Wadi Rum & Overnight

Today you will explore the fantastic Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site. 
On your 2.5 hour guided tour learn about the Nabatean Culture. You will walk through the Siq (the imposing canyon) until you reach the Treasury - Petra's most famous monument. Continue to the end of the main trail with your guide. You have the rest of the time to explore further on your own and you might like to walk up the steps to see the Monastery, the largest of Petra’s monuments with its huge and beautifully carved doorways.
At the end of the day, your driver will be waiting to take you south to the beautiful desert of Wadi Rum. Here you’ll spend the night under the stars at a Bedouin camp to see how the locals live. Enjoy the magnificent view. Overnight at a Bedouin Camp including dinner and breakfast. 

 

Day 4

Wadi Rum – 4x4 Tour - Amman & Overnight

Enjoy breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, a 4x4 will take you on a tour of the highlights of Wadi Rum desert, a recognized UNESCO site. Visit the Nabatean inscriptions, the canyons, the sand dunes and Lawrence of Arabia’s House. After exploring Wadi Rum, your driver will pick you up and take you north to the capital of Jordan, Amman. After a late lunch, enjoy a tour around this astonishing city. You will visit the most famous sites, such as the Citadel, the Theater, and the downtown Souks. Overnight Amman Hotel including breakfast. 

Day 5

Amman - Jerash - Amman Airport for departure.

Your driver will pick you up after breakfast and transfer you north of Amman to visit the beautiful ruins of Jerash. This city is often described as Rome away from Rome and it was one of the greatest Roman settlements. 
Take a journey back in time, while exploring the remains of the old Jerash. Visit the Hippodrome, the Theater, the Temples of Artemis and Zeus.
In the afternoon, a car will transfer you to the airport in time to catch your flight back home. Reflect on your memories while you travel and remember that Jordan will always welcome you back.
